Hi! I aM

zhuo dai

Or you can call me “D”. I was born and raised in China, and I’m here to pursue my new career as a UI artist in the game industry!

My artistic journey began in childhood, fueled by an early passion for drawing. I chose Visual Communication as my major in undergraduate studies, and this educational journey has shaped me into the UI artist I am today.

Gamer

Looking back on my childhood, I realized how early I was exposed to the game. In elementary school, I kept a large map in my notebook and would assemble with my friends to develop characters and explore the territory. It sounds like Dungeons & Dragons, right? But I don't know what that is at that age.
As I grew older, I was able to play a wider range of computer games, including Dungeons and Fighters (DNF) and Left 4 Dead 2. These games made such an impact on me that I now prefer RGP and FPS games.

It was also at this point that I began to focus my attention on game art when playing a game. I began to notice how the textures looked, how the art styles differed from one another, and how game creators managed to accomplish such results.

movie buff

I have a deep love for watching movies. They have this incredible ability to transport me to another reality, where I can experience a myriad of emotions – from the sweet moments of joy to the bitter ones of pain. It's a journey that allows me to live different lives on screen.

My life

I love my life and am grateful for all the people I have met. I think those people have helped me become the person I am today. So that's why I love taking pictures to record my daily life. Some are just random shots, while others are carefully planned. But they all have one thing in common: they're all full of memories, and these memories help me get through my hard times. There is a wall where I hang pictures right next to where I work, and looking at those pictures always help me calm down when I'm feeling stressed or tired.
